The IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i at a Glance
Both IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i operate using the innovative bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM® that heats tobacco rather than burning it. The heating eliminates smoke and ash.
Features Shared by the IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i
As an evolution in our Heat-not-Burn range, both the IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA i share similarities, easing the transition between the two and ensuring your experience with device remains consistent.
- Tobacco sticks. Both devices use tobacco sticks with fully sealed stick designs for easy insertion and extraction. A sealed stick means no tobacco residue and no need to clean your holder.
- Familiar design. Both devices come with a Holder and Pocket Charger, maintaining a sleek and user-friendly interface.
- Charging. Both devices can be charged with the same AC Power Adaptor. You can purchase it at the IQOS Service Point or use the ones from previous generations: IQOS 3, IQOS 3 MULTI, IQOS 3 DUO, IQOS ORIGINALS DUO & IQOS ORIGINALS ONE, and IQOS ILUMA.
Features Unique to the IQOS ILUMA i
Compared to previous IQOS generations, the IQOS ILUMA i provides the most adjusted experience of using device, with innovative features. Here are the IQOS ILUMA i features that set this device apart from the IQOS ILUMA family.
- Touch Screen: The new device comes with a touch screen that displays key metrics such as pre-heating status, time left for your use, and the number of available uses (1 or 2).
- Pause Mode: With the Pause Mode feature, you can ause your experience for up to 8 minutes and resume where you left off*. Pause Mode is only available in Performance Mode, during the first 3 minutes or 8 puffs of the the use. When pause is activated, Performance Mode gives you up to two consecutive uses and pause is available only for one of the them. This feature provides more flexibility when using device.
- FlexPuff Feature: The FlexPuff feature is an innovation in the IQOS ILUMA i design. Depending on the way you puff, FlexPuff adapts to you and may provide 4 extra puffs. FlexPuff is designed to work with the tobacco sticks. Activation and number of puffs depend on individual usage patterns. Thus, the extended experience might not apply to all experiences. FlexPuff does not activate when pause is used. With FlexPuff, since the system analyses your experience automatically, no action is required from you.
- FlexBattery Feature: The device comes with an option, which allows you to choose and adjust the holder battery mode. With two available settings, Eco-mode and Performance mode, it is possible to customize the device holder.
